Ridiculously overpriced, but I went here because I'm from the area and wanted to support a local business. I even know the family. Stupidly, I felt good about supporting someone local. THEN: I bought a hummingbird feeder here; got home and found it was missing the hanging piece. Took it back the SAME DAY for a replacement and they said I'd have to return it ans pay a RESTOCKING FEE in order to get a feeder complete with all its parts!!! On an item that was INCOMPLETE WHEN I BOUGHT IT. Told me it was their store policy to charge a fee on ANY item that is returned, no matter what. Wow. Great customer relations. They obviously care nothing for customer loyalty. I used to buy all our gardening items here and all of our birdseed but now I tell everyone I know what a scam business they have. I was loyal to them despite their increased prices, but now I'll save money and go elsewhere. This business is a great example of why WalMart succeeds in putting small businesses OUT of business. I feel foolish for ever having wanted to support them when obviously they couldn't are less about customers. (Not to mention the place always looks like a hurricane just went through and the merchandise is covered in fine dust.)
This place is an absolute joke. Be prepared to do half the work yourself. They come to pickup lawn mowers, need help from the owners to load them, they're not sure how to put them in neutral, etc. On top of this, they lie to you about the cost, time frame, all to jack up the bill. When called on it, they deny everything. The address is not 163 State Street, but 163 Rt. 77.
A unique store. They have a bit of everything, but prices are a bit high. Employees are quite knowledgeable.
